In Memoriam
The success of the Northwest Behavioral Health Institute is built on the dedication of those who committed their lives to helping others. It is through their vision, passion, and tireless efforts that we are able to continue this important work in educating and supporting those who serve individuals affected by substance use disorders.
Andrea Quicksall, MA, QMHP, CADC III, was a longtime board member of the Northwest Behavioral Health Institute and truly larger than life. Her energy was infectious. She was outgoing, joyful, and always ready to bring laughter and warmth to any room. Andrea had a rare gift for making every situation feel lighter and more fun, and her presence will be deeply missed.
Throughout her life, Andrea embodied unwavering compassion and a steadfast commitment to helping others. She will be remembered not only for her dedication to advancing education for professionals in the substance use disorder field, but also for the meaningful work she did to provide behavioral health support to those in need in our state.
In addition to her professional contributions, Andrea was a devoted mother and grandmother. She poured her love into her family with the same enthusiasm and care she brought to her work. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the community she helped strengthen, and the family she loved so deeply.
Megan Marshall, LPC, CADCI (she/her)
